We are in September, somehow, I am excited. September seems to be a special month. It is the ninth month of the year. Expectant mothers always look up to the ninth month for delivery.    Perhaps this is why    it is   called the month of fruitfulness.    It is the month of expectation.  It is the month that one begins to appreciate that the year is running out . Hence, the determination to work harder at attaining set goals.

In the same manner, the ninth month    should be the month that we work harder    on our spiritual life for the attainment of our desired miracles.

In this column today, we’ll focus more on    the issue of child-bearing.    Why?    God commanded man    in Genesis 1 verse 28. “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish    the earth, and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea , and over    the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon    the earth”.

This is    the command of God which he expects all human beings to obey.    It is, therefore, not surprising that    nine months after a marriage  ceremony, people expect to see babies in the home .

This is more so in African societies where    parents are so desirous to see their grand children.    Consequently, the couple is put under pressure moving from one doctor to another , from one spiritualist to another but    what is certain is that it is God that gives children.

When we refer to our popular Bible passage,    Luke 1 vs. 37, “For with God nothing    shall be impossible”    , we often forget that    this  statement was made in relation to child-bearing matters.    The Holy Bible referred to the birth of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost in verse 35 and in verse 36 referred to the case of Elizabeth whom the world had called barren.

“ With God nothing shall be impossible” signifies the awesome power of the Almighty God to turn all our points of sorrow to joy, to change a situation that has been medically termed impossible to possibility.

Our God is unlimited.

Psalm 127 verse 3 tells us what children    mean      to God. It    states, “Lo, children are    an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward”.    Verse 4 adds: “As arrows are      in the hand of a mighty man;    so are the children of the youth”.

The word of God continues in verse 5    of the same Psalm: “ Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate”.

Are you trusting    God for the fruit of the womb, hold Him to His word.

Remind God that He has commanded that all human beings should go and multiply.  Therefore, you cannot be an exception.

Deuteronomy 7 verse 14 states : “ Thou shall be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle”.

This is the word of the Lord.    In your prayer, repeatedly remind him of his word .

Pastor Enoch Adeboye,  during the last Holy Ghost    Night    for people trusting God for children,   titled, “No more fruitless efforts” reminded us that    it is God that decreed    that we should go into the world and “ multiply”.

He said when God speaks, it is done. In other words, since He said it, He will do it.

Hold God to His word –  will share with you a prayer point    given to women trusting    God for the fruit of    the womb by Pastor Gbenga Oso of Laughter Foundation International Ministry some years ago.

Genesis 1 verses 27 and 28 of the Good News Bible: “So God created human beings, making them to be like himself.    He created them male and female, blessed them and said have many children”.

Pastor Oso directed then that this prayer point should be read seven times before going to bed.

The prayer is followed with    this declaration “ God says, I should have children.  I agree    with God. God says it. I agree with Him,  it is settled.    I am a father/ mother of twins, a boy, a girl    or triplets”.      Say to yourself what you want.

Hold the Lord to his word and declare to yourself what you are and, by His Grace, He will make you what you have declared that you are.

Let me say that I know many women prayed this way and today they are mothers. I prayed along this line too and the    yoke was broken.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, every yoke    will be broken as we call upon His name and hold on to His word.

Why am I so sure?    Let’s consider the word of the Lord in Psalm 50 verses 14 and    15:. “    Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And    call upon me in the day of trouble :    I will deliver thee , and thou shalt glorify me”.

So, let    us call upon Him, we are sure that He will deliver us from that unpleasant situation and    testimony shall follow.

Is your case that of IVF that has failed several times?   Seek the help of God.  If you ever met people who have spent so much on IVF without something to show for it, then you will appreciate that even IVF    needs the intervention of God to be successful.

More importantly, we have a God  that  is able to give as many children as we want without consultation fees.

Your seed, your testimony– In this column, I have emphasized the link between seed sowing and our miracle just as many men and women of God have done.    Pastor Peter Akalamudo, while calling for offering, shared two significant testimonies with the congregation at the September last Holy Ghost Night    of RCCG.    He said a couple who had a 12-year-old child but wanted more children, kept coming to church believing God. Then they decided to donate a rug to the church. It was not long after this, he said, the woman conceived and had a set of twin boys.

He also cited another couple    who though didn’t have their own biological but    donated    a bus to the children’s department of the church .  They had been waiting to have children for about 10 years .    Not long after this donation, the woman conceived and had a set of quadruplets; two boys and two girls.

I also met a woman who though hadn’t children,    made up her mind to do something for the children’s church.    She told the pastor that she wanted to beautify the children’s church by painting it.    She did and, after a while, she too became a mother.

It doesn’t matter now, if the problem is physical or spiritual. Don’t even bother pointing accusing fingers on anybody or a group of people or focus on the problem. Focus on the breakthrough.

Take steps to provoke the Lord with your offering or seed.

Think out of the box, pray about it and the Spirit of the Lord will lead you to take a step or steps that will bring your miracle.

The point that one is making is very clear:

Do not get tired of seed sowing .

Every seed is a spiritual investment and, by the grace of God,    in this season, in the name of Jesus, you shall have a bountiful harvest.

Whatever it is that troubles your mind, the Lord will give you rest    in Jesus name.

Hold on to his word, hold on to his promise and your testimony is assured.
