Rack centre appoints new BDD

LEADING Data Centre colocation provider, Rack centre, has announced Mr Frederick Udoaka as its new Business Development Director. Udoaka joined from MTN Nigeria where he was the Chief Enterprise Business Officer for MTN Business.  He brings over 25 years leadership in IT delivery, sales and business development across an impressive range of blue chip multinationals in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Educated in University of Lagos Nigeria and London School of Economics, for his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Law, Udoaka also has a post graduate Diploma in Systems & Design Analysis from City University London. He takes over from Howard Pheby who continues to work for Rack Centre from UK as the company’s Business Development Associate.

Mr. Udoaka will be responsible for all aspects of Rack Centre’s Business Development, taking it to the next stage in its strategic growth. Udoaka comments “I am excited by this new challenge at Rack Centre. I look forward to working with the Executive Leadership Team at Rack Centre to transform the data centre and cloud services landscape in Africa, simplify the ICT landscape for Enterprise to enable them focus on their core business whilst enjoying a reduction in total cost of ownership.”
