ORGANISED Labour and Oyo State Government weekend continued to flex muscles as Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Oyo State Council, directed teachers in the state to ignore the order by Governor Abiola Ajimobi that public secondary schools should reopen today.

Organised labour in Kogi State yesterday accused the state government of resorting to unethical means including propaganda, cheap blackmail and recruiting faceless group to break ongoing strike in the state.

Mr. Philip Shuaibu, a first term member of the House of Representatives, former member of the State House of Assembly and a godson of the outgoing governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has emerged as the running mate of the APC candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
