Jigawa fixes N1.1m as hajj fares

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the 2106  Hajj fares  for the  intending pilgrims from the state. Director operations of the Board,  Alhaji Ahmed Labs disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse that the least amount to be paid to perform the 2016 Hajj from the State is N1,020,068.92; the minimum is N1,069,318.92 while the maximum is N1,167,818.92.

Labbo disclosed that the National Hajj commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 2,369 seats for intending pilgrims from JIgawa, pointing out that the seats were since shared among the 27 local government of the state.

“Let me also tell you that we have paid 50 percent of what we are expected to remit to NAHCON”The Head of operations said that the Board has since commenced the screening of the intending pilgrims to ascertain their fitness and conduct.
