By Juliet Ebirim
So you went looking for a missing underwear in your spouse’s wardrobe. Somehow, you figured your missing item could be among
your spouse’s stuff. In the middle of your search, while ransacking his/her belongings, you discover a bag containing cowries, feathers, red pieces of clothes, strange bottles of concoction and powder etc. What comes to your mind?
Finding strange objects like charms in the possession of one’s spouse could be both frightening and confusing. If you find a bag of charms in your spouse’s wardrobe, what would you do? We spoke to some Nigerian celebrities on this issue and here are their responses:
I’ll decide what to do after questioning him — Empress Njamah, Actress

Empress-Njamah
First of all, I will call a genuine man of God for prayers. After which I will invite my spouse if he is not home at the time. I’ll question him, then I will know and decide what to do.
I’ll lose my trust in him— Angela Phillips, Actress
Honestly, when I see stuff like that, it will scare the day light out of me, because I wouldn’t know if he did that to cage me. He will have to give a convincing explanation and then do away with it. I pray I don’t encounter such, because I will lose every trust I have in him.
Send her packing! No apologies! — Junior Pope Odonwodo, Actor
If I find such, I would do some investigations and interrogations. After investigation and I discover she’s responsible, I will send her packing! No apologies.
I’ll leave no matter what he says— Queen Adakole, Model
I will take photos of the charms, then save it in various places like my mail, YouTube and so on, where it can be safe in case he wants to lie about it. Then, I’ll tell my pastor, so we can pray about it. I’ll also confront my spouse to hear what he has to say. Then I’ll leave him and the relationship for good despite whatever he says.
I’ll leave him for good if … — Nkechi Emmanuel, Actress
I will call him and ask him about it. If his answer is not satisfactory, I’ll take him and the charm to my pastor to know the truth. If what he said is different from what my pastor says, then I’ll leave him for good. I’ll pray for him to repent and give his life back to Christ.
