Speaking in an exclusive chat with Sports Vanguard, Ubah who was elected in the recent Anambra State FA election said, “I will unveil a blueprint for football in the state within two weeks. It will become a template, a guide book that will explain our plan and define our steps for football development in the state..”
The billionaire football club owner laughed off insinuations that his election was held in secret, saying, “how could anybody term an election that was attended by all the delegates, representatives of the Nigeria Football Federation, the chairman of Chairmen of Nigerian football, Chairman of Senate Committee on Sports as kangaroo election. I don’t really understand how people reason.”
He insisted, “there was nothing controversial about my election. It was on camera and the whole world watched it on television. How can anybody think otherwise?”
He said that now that the election was over, stakeholders in Anambra football should come together and move the state football forward.
“Let us look at the bigger picture. Anambra football is bigger than any individual. That is why I want all hands to be on deck as I cannot do it alone.”
