The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, has blamed what it described as incidences of overbilling of its customers on “energy theft” and appealed to electricity consumers in the South East to assist the company to arrest the perpetrators.

The Senate last week voted N10 billion for the care and resettlement of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) in Nigeria’s troubled North East and other parts of the country.
