Driver, 58, in court for allegedly defiling a minor
A 58-year-old driver, Emmanuel Egejuru was on Monday arraigned in an Ikeja High Court, Lagos, for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl. The accused, a resident of No. 10, Mutiu St., Ipaja, Lagos, is charged with defilement contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Naira slides further, sells at N297 to dollar at parallel market
Naira on Monday depreciated further at the parallel market amid growing shortage of the currency. The Naira lost N5 to exchange at N297 to the dollar, representing a depreciation of 1.7 per cent.
