N. Korea to lift Ebola ban on foreign tourists: tour group

North Korea is set to lift a four-month ban on foreign tourism imposed over concerns of the spread of the deadly Ebola virus, a Beijing-based tour group said Monday. Koryo Tours, one of the handful of agencies running regular tours to the North, said it had been contacted by the National Tourism Administration in Pyongyang with news that there was “some movement” over the current travel ban.

Oil marketer remanded over alleged N36.7m fraud

An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Oyingbo, Lagos State has remanded an oil marketer, Otunba Aremu Lola-Anjorin, in prison custody pending when he is able to meet his bail applications over alleged N36.7 million fraud. The oil marketer and his firm, Bonvic Gold Oil Limited, were charged before Magistrate O. Olatunji, on a four-count charge of obtaining money under false pretence, stealing and issuance of dud cheque.
