The legislative arm of Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State has dissolved  the House with Mr Chinedu Odu  elected as new Leader.

Moving the motion, seconded by Mr Uche Kechi, the Majority Leader of the House, Mr Frank Maduemezia alleged that the leadership was not impacting on the lives of the people they represent.

The motion, unanimously supported my members, Maduemezia, also alleged that none of the resolutions of the House under matter of urgent public importance had been implemented.

While further alleging that the principal officers of the House have not met since inception, he decried that the leadership had not moved the legislative arm forward.

The councillors, in the dissolution paper signed by eight  of 13 that attended the sitting, said the motion was in line with Section 51 of the Delta State Local Government Law 2013 as amended.
