Lagos—Senator Gbenga Ashafa, representing Lagos East senatorial district has donated a 16-seater bus to the Ikorodu General Hospital stressing that no effort is too much towards assisting the healthcare value chain to perform their duties more efficiently.

Ashafa, who made the donation through the Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC) Ikorodu Central, Mr. Rilwan Junaid  also gave financial assistance to the hospital to enable it buy medical supplies.

The senator said his donation is to help complement the efforts of the state government towards providing the people of Lagos with quality healthcare.

He explained that the gesture was part of his campaign promises towards improving healthcare services in his constituency.

He promised to continue to do more for the people of Lagos East Senatorial District.

Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Mobolaji Olukoya, while receiving the items, said the gesture would go a long way in improving services by the hospital.
