The Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has dismissed former Governor Kayode Fayemi’s claim that his government was destroying his predecessor’s legacies. Fayose said what was being destroyed were huge debt, unpaid salaries, white elephant projects, bad governance and alleged corruption left behind by the All Progressives Congress, APC, government of Dr. Fayemi, noting that “no responsible government will sustain a legacy of over N86 billion debt that was incurred on projects with no direct bearing on the welfare of the people.”
