The Governor of Taraba state Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku has retuned the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity and Chief Press secretary to the former governor as his media aids.

In a press release sign by Secretary to Taraba state government Chief Gibon Kataps said the governor has approved the appointment of Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa as Chief Press Secretary to the governor.

The statement further stated that Gov. Ishaku has approved the appointment of Sylvanus Giwa as Senior Special Assistant to the governor on media and publicity.

The duo served as media aids to the ailing former governor of Taraba state Pharm. Danbaba Suntai in the above respective capacities.

The secretary to Taraba state government Gibon Kataps said his appointment as SSG of the state would continue until when a new SSG is appointed by the governor.

“I shall seize to be the SSG the day a new SSG will be appointed by Gov. Ishaku” Kataps said.

Kataps was appointed as Secretary to Taraba state government by the former acting governor of Taraba state Sani Abubakar Danladi when he was reinstated by the Supreme Court last year.
