OSOGBO—Resident doctors at Ladoke Akintola University, Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, yesterday staged a peaceful protest at the premises of State Assembly, Gbongan Road, Osogbo against non-payment of their six months salary by Osun state government. The protesting doctors, who told journalists that living had become difficult in the last six months owing to the situation, carried placards with different inscriptions, demanding immediate payment of their salaries and for duration of the protest, prevented vehicular movement in and out of the assembly complex.
