A founding father of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Ben Ezeibe has described the failure of President Goodluck Jonathan to clinch a second term ticket as a divine intervention to save the nation from further economic devastation.

THE heat generated by the elections in Akwa Ibom State is gradually cooling off. A host of non indigenes, who out of fear, travelled out with their families have returned to resume their normal businesses in the state.

The campaign is tagged “Poverty is Sexist”, meaning that women and girls are most seriously affected by poverty. And in order to eradicate extreme poverty, there is a serious need to promote women empowerment. ‘Poverty is Sexist’ was conceived to support the ‘Africa Union Year of Women Empowerment’.

I didn’t know anything about script writing. But as a child, I loved watching films. The stories I came across then were those I saw in books before films. I have always wanted to be part of that story telling world. In fact, I didn’t know there was a profession called script writing.

“For my inspiration, it comes from anything around me, my little pet dog, my young nephew at home who gets on my nerves but I love him all the same. Even a moment of scolding from my dear mother can turn out a big inspiration.”
