term ticket as a divine intervention to save the nation from further economic devastation.

Speaking from his vacation base in South East Asia and United Kingdom, Chief Ezeibe, who was a former Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of the Anambra State chapter of PDP, blamed the party for the woes of the PDP in the recently concluded general elections, stressing that the party’s leaders were the architects of Jonathan’s failure.

He called on the members of the National Working Council of the PDP to resign honourbaly having failed for the first time in 16 years to win a general elections.

“The National Working Committee of the party must resign if they are men and women of honour”, said Chief Ezeibe, who described greed and corruption that ravaged the NWC as not only unfortunate but scandalous and ultimately led to the failure of the party at the polls.

“It is time to ask questions on the integrity and character of a cabal that led the party to its disgraceful outing”, said the Enugu based industrialist and commodity broker, who said he was not keen to return soon to the country until the new President-Elect can guarantee that he would rid out corruption from the nation.

He noted that corruption has brought the nation to its knees and made the country a laughing stuff in the eyes of the international community.

“Some of us in the organised private sector are worried at what percentage corruption could be allocated because for years, we have been at a crossroads on how to deal with this all-mighty evil that has defiled every solution. We need someone who can fight the scourge headlong for us to have real confidence in this project the high level of corrupt practices in this country is worrying A situation where the World Bank has even branded it as deeply embedded culture is practised in Nigeria should make us to ponder on what next for the coming generation.

“The cost of doing business in Nigeria is staggering and more disturbing is the enormous impunity and pomposity our public office holders have arrogated to themselves, with abuse of power, which has resulted to grave losses of public properties and huge damage to the nation’s interest and our people. The social impact is more disastrous.

“Buhari must initiate a widened drive against corruption that will target both tigers and flies respectively, with reference to senior corrupt officials and low ranking corrupt public servants”, added Chief Ezeibe.
