CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government has served the masses selflessly during last seven years and, under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, effective steps are being taken for coping with the challenges being faced by the country.

He said that completion of projects with transparency, quality and speed was the hallmark of the PML-N government. He said there was no allegation of corruption against the PML-N government and the opponents could not point finger to it.
Talking to the PML-N office-bearers, who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, here Friday, Shahbaz Sharif said the last year’s sit-ins and politics of protest had caused a huge loss to national economy.
He said by the grace of Allah Almighty, the PML-N government had again started the journey of development and we were moving forward with new spirit and determination. He said the PML-N government had brought the precious mineral reserves out of corruption before the people; former rulers of Punjab tried to commit robbery on this project and this precious treasure was sold to a so-called company at throwaway price but the PML-N government foiled this effort and brought precious treasures before the people.
He said the treasure discovered in Chiniot-Rajwa was not the property of 100 million people of Punjab but was of 180 million people of Pakistan and this was a special gift of Allah Almighty. He said that according to the experts, the reserves of iron ore and copper were spread over 2,000 square kilometer and Chinese and German experts would soon submit final report.
He said the discovery of wind power corridors in Punjab was good news. He said a Danish company had identified generation of electricity through wind at various places of Punjab. He said 50,000 vehicles were being distributed among jobless youths on merit under Self-Employment Scheme for which quota of districts of South Punjab had been enhanced.
He said that discovery of wind corridors and mineral reserves in Chiniot-Rajwa were result of this hard work and sincerity. He expressed the hope that Pakistan would achieve its lost image in the comity of the nations.
