Uduaghan commissions Umunde-Mbiri road

ASABA—Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State, yesterday, commissioned the Umunede-Mbiri 7.8 kilometre road in Ika North-East Local Government Area of the state with a call on the people to vote for all the candidates of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from the presidential to the House of Assembly elections on March 28 and April 11.

Speaking at the palace of the Obi Mbiri, HRM Ifeanyi Alekwe II, Uduaghan ordered the construction of the road leading to the palace and the Mbiri’s farm settlement.

Assuring that he will complete the road before leaving office on May 29, the governor said the Umunede-Mbiri road project was completed within six weeks from the day of award of the contract.

Commending the contracting firm, Obakpor Engineering Limited, for the speedy completion of the road, Uduaghan called for a proper design of the Mbiri farm settlement road.
