OSOGBO—A chieftain and the senatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for East, Prince Francis Fadahunsi, yesterday, said former President Olusegun Obasanjo, had dumped the party long time ago.

He said since Chief Obasanjo resigned his membership of Board of Trustee, BoT, of the party, he had never attended any meeting called by PDP.

Fadahunsi who fielded questions from newsmen at his Ilase-Ijesha country home, advised Obasanjo to use the opportunity of his bowing out of politics to rest.

“Baba had left PDP a long time ago. He has never attended meeting since he left Board of Trustees chairman position. I congratulate Obasanjo because at 80 years, he needs to rest. PDP will not worry him, All Progressives Congress, APC should not worry him, it is only his conscience that will worry him now,” he stated.

On the allegations that he has a detention camp, Fadahunsi, said he was the target of APC members because those being used to foment trouble have dumped their old ways.
