Following the appointment of Tony Pulis as the new West Bromwich Albion manager, Nigeria striker Brown Ideye has vowed to improve his goals tally for the Baggies.

The 26-year old has scored just two goals for West Brom in all competitions this season, despite arriving for a club record 10 million Pounds last summer from Ukrainian giants, Dynamo Kiev.

However,  following the sacking of the man who brought him to the club, Alan Irvine, and the appointment of Tony Pulis, Ideye reckons he must start scoring more goals.

“I have to take each game as it comes, but my aim is to score in every match. As a striker you want to score in every game and I am now challenging myself and I must work very hard for the team and score more goals,” Ideye said.

But despite his ambition to improve on his goals, the Super Eagles striker also reckoned that they must start winning games, adding that it is the most important thing for him and his teammates.

“The most important thing is to try and win every game and we must take every game as they come,” he reckoned.”
