Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, in Ijaw area, Delta State, have thrown their weight behind the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s election as governor of Delta State, saying the duo have people-friendly agenda for Nigerians and Deltans in particular.

In a statement in Warri, Chairman of the group, Mr Kingsley Ikiere, said that having carefully studied their manifestos, the group had decided to support them, promising to work for their success in next month’s general elections.

Ikiere said: “The HOSTCOM group has scrutinised all the candidates presented by the various political parties. We have looked at their manifestos to see how Nigerians and Deltans will reap the dividends of democracy and decided to back the PDP.”
