2015: Ansar-ud-deen calls for prayers, tasks stakeholders on peaceful elections

The Ansar-ud-deen Society (ADS) has called for prayers for peace to achieve free, fair and credible general elections in 2015.

The Publicity Secretary of the Islamic organisation, Alhaji Muibideen Adebanjo, made this known in his Eid Maolud message.

He said: “As we celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (pbuh), we enjoin Muslims all over the world to observe the occasion with sober reflections in line with the teachings of the prophet.

“We call on all to pray for the nation to have absolute peace; enjoin voters to exercise their important civic right peacefully as the elections draw nearer.”
