Adeboye, an accomplished teacher at every level, said teachers are in the business of moulding the lives and destinies of the nation’s leaders of tomorrow.
In his words: “Teachers have a huge responsibility on them because they have the mandate to train and educate students in the way of the Lord. Please teachers train the children in your care in the way of the Lord, teach them to fear God and in the right way they should go. When they grow up they will not depart from such good way but make good use of it”.
Also advising the teachers, the Special Assistant to Pastor Adeboye on Administration and Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola tasked teachers on quality education to improve the educational standard in the country.
He described the teaching profession as one of the most respected within the nation’s public service, especially at the grassroots level, saying that the opposite was the case nowadays.
