BOMADI — A CALL has gone to the chapter Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bomadi Local Government Area, Mr. Pius Labs, to contest for the Delta State House of Assembly seat to represent Bomadi Constituency in the state legislature.

The Bomadi chapter Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Mr. Keneke Godbless made the call in Bomadi after a closed-door meeting by the leadership of the youth organisation.

Godbless said: “The party chairman has demonstrated the strength of character to bring the real change the people of the constituency have been denied.The NYCN is ready to drum grassroots support for his victory should he declare to contest.”

He attributed the absence of quality representation as reason for the lack of clear roadmap for the development of the local government in the present legislative session, stressing the need for a quality representative, who according to him “is capable of generating confidence among the electorate as well as to enhance the social welfare of the people for which the PDP stands for.”

The youth leader stated that the constituency needs a purposeful leadership in 2015 and urged Pius Labs to run for the State House of Assembly seat, saying “we want him to bring his wealth of experience to bear. He is the man with the patriotic zeal who will listen to the plight of the people.”
