Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate and mother of one, Adunke Bamidele has a unique story concerning her foray into the movie industry. Unlike her colleagues who have told stories of passion and childhood dreams, Aduke stormed into acting through one of the most fabulous ways you would ever imagine.

“I got into acting through my son. Yes, a director saw him on my Facebook page and wrote if I could permit him to use my son in a movie. Being a person that loves acting I gave them my permission. I have always wanted to act but thought I was too old to go into it. So, I took my son to the location, he was very small then. When it got to a scene, where he couldn’t go on, the director asked me if I could act and I said I could. I delivered my lines without any mistake and from there I started acting for real” she said.

Her first film is Mopesola and the most popular, according to her, Aworan Ife was only just released some weeks back. Aduke says she lives for her son and wouldn’t want to disappoint him.

“I don’t want to be seen acting naked and that’s because of my son. As a woman my selling point is my character and how I dress in public.
