Sheikh Zuglool urges Muslims to unite against atrocities

Proprietor of Daru Dawah Wal Irshad Arabic School, Isolo, Lagos, Sheikh Mustapha Zuglool has urged all Muslims to unite against all forms of atrocities in the country and the world in general.

Sheikh Zuglool gave the charge during the 41st graduation ceremony of the school, held in Isolo, Lagos, recently.

The scholar who spoke in Arabic stated that the prevalence of vices such as injustice, corruption, killings, and other forms of inhumanity to man in the world were enough concern for all and sundry, adding that Muslims world over should come together to stop all forms of atrocities against fellow men.

“The situation in Gaza is pitiable and should be the concern of every one. All over the world including Nigeria, there are a lot of evil acts, killings, injustice, and several cases of abuse of human rights.”

“Anybody whose right has been abused or denied should be assisted to get justice in line with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. (s.a.w)”

He urged the over 50 graduands who had taken five to seven-year courses in Arabic and Islamic studies to be good ambassadors of the school, adding they should intensify in the pursuit of knowledge as there is no limitation to the acquisition of knowledge and use same to better the society.

Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, Prof Murtadha Bidmus, University of Lagos, in his opening remark praised the initiative of Shiekh Zuglool claiming he was one of the first students of the scholar.

Also, the proprietor of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, who also spoke in Arabic said he was impressed by ideals of the school indicating that the panacea for the immorality, indiscipline and other vices in Europe and the West are found in the school in line with what is obtainable in Makkah and Madinah.
