Maintain peace in Ndokwa nation, lawmaker urges youths

UGHELLI — THE Deputy Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Friday Osanebi, has emphasised the need for youths of Ndokwa nation to continue to maintain the peace and shun any form of violence that could portray the area in bad light.

He assured them of continued  empowerment, calling on the youths to put the collective interest of the area above their personal and selfish gains in order to enhance the unity and development of the people.
Osanebi gave the assurance while presenting 10 ladies’ motorcycles, four Mitsubishi L 300 buses and a Toyota Camry as well as an Infinity Jeep to some youth leaders drawn from Ndokwa West, Ndokwa East and Ukwuani Local Government Areas at Ushie.

The lawmaker, representing Ndokwa East constituency, said the unity of Ndokwa nation should be paramount to all, noting that “Ndokwa youths are peace loving people and you know no meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of violence.”
He commended the youths for their support to him and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, adding that they should not mortgage their conscience and the collective interest of Ndokwa nation for any reason.
He solicited the support of the Anioma people for Ndokwa nation to produce the next governor of the state and urged the youth to re-elect President Goodluck come 2015 general elections.
