ABUJA — A group, NewTone In Aso Rock Project (NTIARP), in collaboration with Market Youth Congress Of Nigeria (MYCON), has said President Goodluck Jonathan can defeat Boko Haram and set the tone in Aso Rock that will resonate years after he must have left office.

In a parley with newsmen on the state of the nation, National Coordinator of NTIARP, Mazi Chris Maduka, said: “If President Franklin Roosevelt, who was a disabled President can prosecute and win the world war and set the United States on the path to greatness, President Jonathan can defeat Boko Haram and set the tone in Aso Rock that will resonate years after he must have left office.

“But   he cannot do it alone, he needs our collective support and prayer. Let’s resolve today to support and sustain the new tone in Aso Rock, talking less and doing more.”

According to him, the group is a network of support for governance based on justice, equity and sustainable development and not just a support group for Jonathan’s campaign, adding: “We are committed to initiating policies and framework that will complement the ongoing Federal Government well articulated transformation agenda.”
