PEOPLES’  Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, weekend, said it was committed to building a strong and united party capable of securing victory  in the 2015 general elections in the state.

Its Chairman, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, reacting to a call on him by the Anioma Grassroots Movement to run for the 2015 Delta North senatorial election, said that the immediate challenge before him was how to galvanise all members towards ensuring that Delta State continued to be ruled by the PDP.

He, however, thanked the leadership of the Anioma Grassroots Movement for the honour, saying that he was humbled by the offer.
