A former Super Eagles Head Coach, Adegboye Onigbinde said yesterday that the Eagles “have what it takes” to defeat Mexico in their upcoming friendly match tomorrow in Atlanta, U.S.
Onigbinde made the remark in an interview w) in Lagos.
The Super Eagles would lock horns with El Tri of Mexico, as part of their build-up for the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The former FIFA and CAF instructor added that the Eagles handlers were capable of getting a good result from the friendly encounter.
“I think the technical crew has what it takes to deliver, nobody knows their plans for the friendly and that includes me but I believe that they won’t fail us.
“I think the team should do its best to make Nigeria proud, which is in the hands of the players and technical crew.
“I don’t know what Keshi has in his programme and I don’t want to confuse him.
“We have been having some good results and I believe that it will spur us to perform better,” Onigbinde said.
The two teams had battled to a 2-2 draw when they last met at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
