An  up and coming Nollywood actress, Yetunde Akilapa who has been arrested again after she was recently released from prison for theft  has been disowned by the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN.

Also, the actress who until carrying out the bestial act was a member of the Odunfa Caucus of the Yoruba film sector has been banned from featuring in any movie.

Yetunde was beaten black and blue by angry residents who caught her after unlawfully breaking into an apartment in  Magodo Estate, Lagos last Sunday. She has been arrested before now, imprisoned and bailed for committing similar offence.

But reacting to her arrest cum shameful act, the Secretary-General of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Mr Yakubu Mohammed inferred that  the actress’s case may not be far from being spiritual.

Stating clearly that Yetunde is not a registered member of AGN, Yakubu, however, disassociated the actors’ body from  her shameful act, saying the guild has no such members with questionable characters.

“As AGN, we screen all our members before registering them. So, we don’t have any AGN member  with a questionable character. We learnt that Yetunde has spiritual problem and  she’s not a thief. We are praying that God should deliver her,”  Yakubu reacted.
