BENIN CITY—FORMER governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr. Kenneth Imansuangbon weekend, concluded his annual distribution of Christmas rice to the less privileged in the three senatorial district of the state.
The distribution of rice which has become a ritual for the past five years, also covered major orphanage homes in the entire state.
Speaking after the exercise, Imansuangbon said the gesture was his own way of giving back to the society and has nothing to do with politics.
The PDP chieftain who was represented by Mr. Hope Iyare, deputy director, Kenneth Imansuangbon Organisation, said in the spirit of the yuletide,”it has become imperative for me to discharge my responsibility by ensuring that less privileged families have sufficient food to celebrate like the affluence.”
