THE Federal Government has earned about N389.975 million from the issuance of operating licenses to the new owners of the privatised assets of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN.

Operating licences issued to the new owners of the privatised Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN companies, and other operators in the power sector is valid only for 10 years, the Federal Government has said.

An Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, yesterday, remanded a 24-year-old man, Ndubuisi Nweke, alleged to have robbed some residents of valuables worth N389,500, at the Kirikiri Prisons, Apapa.
