SECOND Republic Senator and renowned accountant, Chief David Dafinone, has mounted the soap box in Sapele, Delta State, to campaign for his second son, Chief Ede Dafinone, who is the Democratic Party, DPP, flag bearer for the October 12 senatorial bye election in Delta Central.

The elder statesman, who took the message of Urhobo unity and development to notable politicians and monarchs in Uvwie, Udu, Ughelli, Evwreni, Jesse, Mosogar and Oghara last Tuesday and Wednesday, assured that “Ede’s representation will be effective and filled with integrity and accountability.”

He also addressed prominent Delta Central political and community leaders in Sapele, telling them, “In my family, we do not talk about performance, we are born to perform. We do things with integrity, honesty, diligence and interest of those we serve.”

His words: “The Senator representing Delta Central must be well educated- vibrant, visionary individual who wants Urhobo unity, someone who is not defective in any area. He must have contact with individuals, groups and organizations.”
