Etisalat slashes tariffs for 2013 Hajj

Mobile phone operator, Etisalat Nigeria, has disclosed that from September 1st to November 30th 2013, its new and existing customers travelling to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy pilgrimage would enjoy discounted rates on local calls in Saudi Arabia, calls to Nigeria, SMS and data services respectively.

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) has stated that its 2012 financial account was duly audited.

Responded to speculation in the media about its 2012 accounts, the bank said, “The 2012 consolidated accounts of ETI were audited and certified independently by PriceWaterhouse Coopers. They are published under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Contrary to media speculation there was no allegation that these accounts were mis-stated.”
