The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria, PETAN with the support of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, is coordinating the exhibition of Nigerian-based companies at the Nigeria Pavilion during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) holding at the Reliant stadium, Houston, Texas from May 6 – 9, 2013

The OTC is the premier gathering of professionals and opinion leaders in the global Oil & Gas industry and provides an excellent opportunity for the positive portrayal and promotion of the great potential of Nigeria and the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry. It also provides a unique platform for close interaction between leading International and Nigerian Oil Service Companies, IOCs, Industry Executives, Government Policy Makers and Political leaders.

Several Nigerian companies, including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) will be part of the robust contingent to underscore the dynamism and potential of Nigeria’s Petroleum Industry. Over 2000 industry leaders either from Nigeria or with interest in the Oil & Gas industry in Nigeria usually attend this event every year.

At the OTC 2012, Nigeria had the fifth largest representation compared with over 60 other participating countries.

PETAN is an association of Nigerian Technical Oilfield service companies in the upstream and downstream sectors of the Oil industry.

PETAN actively promotes the development of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria through the organization of and participation in conferences, seminars and workshops as well as creating opportunities for Nigerian companies to develop in a competitive industry market.

PETAN has been organizing and hosting the Nigerian pavilion at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), Houston Texas since 2005.
