Oritsejafor’s re-election good omen for Nigeria – Owie

BENIN — FORMER Senate Chief Whip, Senator Rowland Owie, has described the re-election of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, as good omen for the country.

Owie, who commended Oritsejafor’s achievements in his first tenure, noted that the man of God had led CAN with passion and commitment and urged him to remain focused and not be intimidated.

He said: “I wish to congratulate you, Papa Oritsejafor, on your re-election as President of CAN. You have shown direction and positive leadership since your assumption of office by building on the foundation of truth and fearlessness, which your predecessor in office laid.

“By the grace of God, you have dealt with national issues like the statesman that you are and a fearless man of God. We urge you to continue along that line, particularly now that our country is in dire need of God’s intervention and protection. We will continue to pray for you and your family as you pilot the affairs of Christians.”
