Obu’s family set to shoot movie on human trafficking

He is a lawyer who did not hang his wig and gown, rather, he chooses to combine his  profession with social activism like most renowned lawyers all over the world do.

Alongside his family, wife; Mary and two kids, Diamond and Soncharles, Ndukwe Sam Obu has taken up the fight against human trafficking, using Nollywood as one of the tools to achieving this aim.

His wife and two kids are in with him in his fight against Human Right Abuse and Human Trafficking being championed by his outfit, Next 2 None NGO. “We are jointly fighting these causes from our Abuja base.

Diamond at 6 years and my dear wife are models, presently modeling for Human Right Commission, our partners in this cause, while Soncharles is an artiste at 8, he would feature in the upcoming Movie by Next 2 None in collaboration with Nollywood, Human Right Commission and Ministry of Information,” he narrated in a chat with HVP.

The production of the movie which stars Zack Orji, Keppy Ekpeyong, Paul Obazele, Emeka Enyiocha, Charles Inojie among  others, has reached advanced stage and would be shot in locations across Nigeria and America, Italy and North Africa. The script was written by Amaechi Osai.

Obu is a legal practitioner, founder and chairman, Board of Trustees of Next 2 None. He is also a social activist affiliated to many international organizations that dwell on the betterment of human society.
