She ruled the airwaves in 1998 with her chart-bursting motivational songs Osamudiamen, Child of God and others at the tender age of 10. She also toured a number of massive arenas which had her performing before audiences comprising several highly placed government officials; and now, Benita is staging a return to the music scene with a historic performance at this year’s Nnenna and Friends Children’s Day Show.
Also billed to perform at the upcoming event are Nigeria’s number one comedy troupe Papa Ajasco & Company; world-famous comedian Akpororo; angelic-voiced singer Linda and the multitalented N-Stars; electrifying dance groups Trace and The Commissioners; and the MCs of the day are none other than wapTV’s very own Omo Nla and Mazi Ukpaka.
Nnenna & Friends Children’s Day Show 2013, being the latest in a series of well-attended live shows by the Nnenna & Friends Brand, has secured the support of top corporate bodies in Nigeria including Indomie Noodles, Ribena, Promise PE Gold, Toasties Bread Chips, Panda Paracetamol, McVities Happy Faces and many others who will all ensure that there are lots of gifts and prizes to go round.
The Nnenna & Friends Children’s Day Show 2013 will take place at the Theater, Iganmu Lagos on Monday, 27th May, 2013 with Two Shows (12noon – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm) and N500 as the gate fee per show. The event will be recorded and broadcast on wapTV (on StarTimes) across Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Mozambique, Central Africa Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and Guinea.
