Mali finished third a second consecutive time at the Africa Cup of Nations by defeating Ghana 3-1 Saturday at rain-drenched Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Mahamadou Samassa and Seydou Keita gave Mali a two-goal advantage by early in the second half, Kwadwo Asamoah scored a soft late goal to set up a tense finish but substitute Sigamary Diarra put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time.

Dana crash: AIB discourages me from completing autopsy – Pathologist

The Lagos State chief Pathologist and Chief Examiner of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Prof. John Obafunwa, yesterday told the coroner court investigating the June 3, 2012 Dana plane crash in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos State that he was prevented by the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) from carrying out autopsy on all the victims of the crash.
