Fayose, Oni harp on love, unity, forgiveness

ADO EKITI— Two former governors of Ekiti State, Messrs. Ayo Fayose and  Segun Oni had  in their goodwill messages to Nigerians called for love, unity and forgiveness as the virtues to be emulated by all Christians

In a Christmas and new year message released by the Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation (AFCO) in Ado Ekiti yesterday and signed by the Director of Publicity and Research of AFCO, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, Fayose said the Christmas celebrations should call for sober reflection among Christians and Nigerians in  general.

In the same token, the National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the PDP, Chief Segun Oni has urged Nigerians, especially members and supporters of the PDP in the South-West to  use the Christmas period to rededicate themselves to  the Almighty God.

Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Lere Olayinka, the PDP National Vice-Chairman, in his goodwill message on the occasion, Oni said; “More than merry-making, Nigerians should reflect deeper on the humility that characterised the birth of Jesus Christ  and the fulfilment of God’s promises concerning His birth,” he said.
