Gombe United and Nigerian Premier League top scorer, Mustapha Babadidi has expressed joy over his invitation to U-17 camp.

Speaking to Sunday Vanguard Sports at the team’s camp in Abuja, the slim striker with seven goals to his kitty, said he hopes to make the team so as to show Nigerians his abilities in front of goal.

“The training has been good for me. I feel very happy scoring seven goals for Gombe United, which informed my invitation to the team. I hope to make it in the final list so I can show to the world my scoring abilities.

“A good number of the players are very good but this is just a screening process, which I believe, will help in forming a sound team after which, we will be in good shape for the qualifiers itself,” Babadidi said.
