LAGOS (AFP) – Nigeria Football Federation have called up Wigan winger Victor Moses and recalled Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu for two friendly matches against Botswana and Zambia next week.
Moses, 20, was this week cleared by world football governing body FIFA to play for Nigeria, while Etuhu is making a return to the national side since last year’s World Cup in South Africa.
Also returning is Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, who fell out with Samson Siasia, fired as coach last week after he failed to qualify Nigeria for January’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Dele Aiyenugba, who stood in for Enyeama, was not invited.
The Super Eagles take on Botswana at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on November 12, before they move to Kaduna to play Zambia at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium three days later.
