Youth Alliance for Democratic Change Organization (YADCO), has expressed worry over the controversies surrounding the administration of Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomole.
YADCO’’s president, Mr.Daniel Ohiomoba, said in a release to newsmen recently, that the Governor celebrated his three years in office in a grand style at Ring Road Benin city, inviting top musicians like 2face, Timaya, D’banj and others at a very high cost, neglecting his major responsibility of tackling robbery and kidnapping threatening his government as a result of unemployment and inadequate security measures.
He said the initiated tax payment was a supportive measure for vast development in the state but is not being channeled into the right course.
Instead, the rate of crimes increases while development decreases., Oshiomhole cited the outrageous school fees introduced by the governor who in his campaign promised free education at all levels and also eradicating the role of a minority leader in the state House of Assembly.
He therefore urged the people not to be fooled for the second time because they were robbed, advising the eligible voters of Edo state to make sure they vote for the right candidate who is selfless that would represent them effectively in the forthcoming election 2012.
