Edo FA: Ehigie promises better days

The Chairman of Edo Football Association, Chief Abel Ehigie, has reiterated  his promise to the people of Edo State that his administration will take football to the desired height.

Ehigie, a retired referee, made this commitment in Benin when the FA signed on Neo Media and Marketing Limited as the official marketer of the association.

Says Ehigie: “I want to use this opportunity to tell our people that we’re determined to do everything with our powers to take Edo Football to the desired height.”

Ehigie who acknowledged that football is capital intensive promised that the partnership with Neo Media and Marketing Limited is aimed a generating revenue for the various activities of the FA.

“Football, we all know, is capital intensive and that is why we have to sign a reputable marketing outfit to source for funds. I’m positive that our partnership with them will yield results.”

On his part, Ehi Braimah, the Chief Executive Officer of Neo Media and Marketing Limited promised to apply his best to ensure that Edo Football comes back to its active days.

“I’m happy to be part of the new spirit in the state. The present board led by Ehigie has demonstrated enough vision and determination to revive football in the state and together, we shall get there.”
