Dada named Upper Niger Basic Dev Authority’s new ED

UPPER Niger River Basin Development Authority, UNRBDA, has named Mallam Muhammed A. Dada as its new Executive Director.

Until this appointment, he was the Director in-Charge of public Relations and protocol of the Authority.

A seasoned public Relations practitioner, Broadcast Journalist and an Administrator, Mallam Dada is a member of the Nigerian Institute of public Relations (NIPR) Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Advertising practitioners Association and Nigerian Institute of Management.

He has a Bachelor Degree in Administration and planning, a professional Diploma in Mass Communication, Certificate in Public Information and a post Graduate in Public Relations, Advertising and Management.

He attended Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigerian Institute of Journalism Lagos, National Public Information, Kaduna and the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Abuja.

Mallam Muhammed Dada’s working experience began in 1983 shortly after the mandatory one year National Service in Lagos.

He worked with the Broadcasting Corporation of Niger state  (Radio Niger), the Defunct Concord press Nigeria Ltd (Community Concord-Niger) in 1987 and moved to Niger River basin development Authority from 19990 to 2011 as its public Relations officer until his new appointment.
