In commemoration of its 50th anniversary, Nestle Nigeria Plc has rewarded its customers with various prizes, with a businessman, Alloy Okwu, clinching the star prize of a Honda Civic car.
Commercial Manager, Nestle, Mr. Anup Srivastara, who presented the car to the winner at the 50th anniversary raffle draw held in Lagos, said that the promotion is the only way the company could have said thank you to its numerous customers for their patronage over the years.
Srivastara noted that there are a total of five cars to be given to star winners across five regions of the country.
He said the draw was to hold for two days, while five took place simultaneously in five locations in the country, Lagos, Kaduna, Jos, Ibadan, Aba, Owerri, stating that the Lagos location was divided into four regions, Lagos Extension, Lagos North, Lagos Central and Lagos East.
On how winners emerged, he said, “Consumers who purchased the company’s product pack containing a raffle ticket, automatically qualified for the draw with gift prizes ranging from LCD TV, Air Condition, Gas Cooker, Home Theater, Refrigerator, among others and a star prize of Honda Civic Car”
Also speaking on his winning, Okwu, expressed gratitude to the company saying he bought just a product pack and submitted the raffle ticket.
He said, “I am 50 years of age and married with five children. I am so happy because I never expected it. I was somewhere when they called me and when I came, I saw that it was true, Nestle I say thank you for changing my life.”
In the Lagos draw, 24 winners emerged; four runner-ups in the draw for the four regions of the Lagos branch, in addition to the star prize, totaling 25 consumers.
The company instantly gave prize to the winners in the prize category, while some winners absent at the event were called to come to the company’s head office to pick their prize.
Among the winners are, Femi Olusola, NEMA, Patience Ekele, Gbagada, Chima Chikezie, Mary Land Adeniran Samah, Lagos Island, Abiodun Jinad, Nathaniel Idoroyen, Moshood Mustapha, among others.
Meanwhile, Business Manager, Mrs Doja Ekeruche, said it is the only way the company could have given back to consumers what they have offered as well, reward loyal customers.
Ekeruche appreciated the effort of the company’s distributors and all those that made the promo successful.
