If you’ve ever been to any of D’banj’s concerts, you’d wonder where he gets his energy from.
The way he jumps around the stage in rhyme to his beats and lyrics, leaves you wondering whether he’s Fela reincarnated. It’s therefore not shocking to find a mammoth crowd at any of his shows.
However 2Face Idibia, on the other hand, comes with his own style. Although a bit slow on stage, he holds his audience with a steady, terrific voice, thought-provoking lyrics with evergreen melody. These gifts makes it hard for his die hard fans to stop loving him.
These duo indeed rule Africa’s music scene. And a confirmation to that was at the recently held Black Entertainment Awards (BET) where they were jointly crowned the Best African International Artistes.
This weekend, Showtime takes to the streets to ask fans of both giants their preferred choice when it comes to stage performance.
Who dazzles best on stage was the question, Dbanj? Or 2Face?

I think D’banj is a better live performer than Tuface. Pls, Don’t nail me ooo. Tuface is good no doubt. He’s a good musician. I love everything about him except… (I’m sure u all know) but I still think D’banj is a better stage performer than Tuface

D’banj is a wonderful artist. There was a time I went for his show at Fantasy Land, ikoyi. His performance that day was just out of this world and all I could say was wow! The guy knows how to move the crowd.

When you watch D’banj on stage, you’ll not but fall in love with him. D banj has this restless attitude on stage- he’s got the swag but Tuface is still the baba any time any day.

Tuface is really a good live performer. I saw him perform at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in New York two weekends ago and he rocked with a medley of Implication and African Queen. He has stage presence and knows how to connect with the crowd. He was very humble, down to earth and just sat where he was placed without calling undue attention to himself. Nobody really knew he was sitting up front until he went up to get the first in a series of awards presented to him that night.

You dey compare aids wit Malaria…Dbanj Na D Best..Give it to him anytime… If you’ve ever watched D’banj perform live, I bet, you go ask for more.

This matter shouldn’t be a stretchy one. Although Tuface is good too, D’ banj is better on the Stage.

?I believe tuface is a better musician. He’s got good lyrics and you can sit back and listen to his songs over and over without getting tired. Dbanj on the other hand is a better performer-he picks the crowd with his style.

Both of them are good in their own rights. But when it comes to stage performance, I’ll go for Dbanj because he has a unique style of singing presentation. He’s the action master and it has really won him more fans over the years.

D’bang has a better stage performer more than 2face but 2baba when it comes to who is more talented, Tuface is the bomb! Tubaba was one of the top musician that brought Nigeria music to the stage it is now. But the way D’banj demonstrates and vibrates qualifies him as a good stage performer.
Philip Ogunleye
You don’t have to worry yourself over nothing because Dbanj takes the Crown!

D banj far exceeds Tuface on stage performance, full stop!!
Chukwuma Tony Akwamuzor
Koko master is the master on stage when compared to Tubaba. For 2baba, all you will hear is yes o! But koko master caries you along. Did you watch D’banj’s presentation on STV anniversary, his presentation was a boom!
Richard Abiodun
When it comes to stage, give it to D-banj. But when it comes to music, give it to tuface.
