ABUJA – Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Mr Louis Ebodaghe, has warned that unless President Goodluck Jonathan picked the right people who shared his vision of transforming Nigeria as his cabinet members, the huge expectations of Nigerians that his regime would transform their lives would be dashed.
In an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, Mr Ebodaghe, who is a technical specialist in coagulation at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in the United States of America, noted that in view of the short time at the disposal of the president and the huge challenge he had to contend with, he must not sacrifice merit on the altar of political patronage.
According to him, if the president concentrates on four key areas that most affect the country- education, power, security and healthcare delivery, other problems of the country would be mitigated.
“During the campaigns, a lot of issues were raised and the President presented himself as a transformational leader, if he sails through with that vision, he has the potential to unite the country to make further progress.
