THE crisis between the Bini and the Benin Catholic Arch Diocese over the appointment of a substantive Bishop for the Diocese, worsened, weekend, following an order by an Edo State High Court, Benin, restraining the caretaker Bishop of the Diocese, Bishop Anthony Gbuji, from installing Bishop Augustine Akubueze, as the substantive Bishop of the Diocese.

Fleeing robbers kill DPO in Lagos
The Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Alakuko in Lagos State, Joseph Olatomokunm, was yesterday shot dead by a gang of armed robbers who were escaping with stolen vehicles.
